Clean room, spacious bathroom, including a good meal at a local Portuguese restaurant.

The location of the hotel was good - a 10-15 minute walk from Pedra. The rooms where neat and luxury, and the bathroom was reasonably spacious with a bathtub. Outstandingly accommodating and amicable stuff, gave a lot of information.

The room was large and nicely furnished with central heating and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
Fabulous food, terrific service and lovely view on the parque and castle de la Pena. A good choice of goodies for breakfast: )

We stumbled upon some culinary gems nearby, like Adega do Saloio with their mouthwatering curry that took us straight to flavor paradise! Plus, the suite was spacious and had its own microwave.
A bit of a bummer was when I needed to dash out early, only to find my car trapped without a code. I spent over two hours trying to get help, which put a damper on my day. Still, the charm of Sintra made it all sparkle in the end.

missingWrote a review on 01 Novdamp smellsafety risk
Strong damp smells permeated the suite. The bathroom door had a loose handle, posing a safety risk. With the main light in the living room out and no one to address the issue, it felt a bit neglected. There was no true balcony as advertised, just a shared terrace, and the sheets showed signs of wear. Mosquitoes were a nuisance due to the nearby plants that allowed them entry, and the layout provided little privacy as anyone walking by could see into the suite.

The family suite was spacious. We encountered issues with maintenance, such as a loose bathroom door handle and a malfunctioning light. The lack of a proper balcony was misleading, and the terrace felt less private than expected. It's a reasonable option for families but could benefit from some upgrades and improvements in service.

clean room but limited dining options
The room was clean, spacious, and the bed provided a good night's sleep. Easy parking was available nearby, made our arrival stress-free. Local restaurants offered flavorsome meals. I particularly enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the nearby Portuguese place with a lovely waitress.
The dining options nearby could be more varied.

We stayed with two couples, and the spacious rooms made it comfortable for all of us. Kids loved the views from the patios, especially of Pena Palace. Easy parking was a big bonus. We found some good local eateries nearby.
For dads, it would be great if more seating was provided in rooms.

I enjoyed the good-sized room with comfy mattresses after a long day exploring. Although I wished breakfast had been available, the variety of nearby dining options made up for it. Just a heads up, the towels were a bit worn out.
